Nathan, here's a thought. There are so many cats and kittens in shelters. Why? Because people get them, don't want them, and let them loose, or because they are born and their Mother is killed or abandons them. These animals are left to find food. They die from malnutrition, they die from diseases and from preditors killing them. They never know love, they never feel safe or cherished. You can have a cat as a pet and train it to be an indoor/outdoor cat. You will have it vaccinated and it will always come home. The best of both worlds.
