I got to babysit my 2 year old grandson for the first time since my Meniere's attacks became more frequent. I had been having attacks for years, but they were so far apart I didn't connect them. Then they became more frequent last summer and I was finally diagnosed. I told my daughter I was afraid to babysit him because I might get incapacitated, but that I could do it if my husband was home to support me. Last night her husband had to work and she had to be at a meeting so she asked me to watch the 2 year old. I was delighted as I hadn't been able to do it lately, but this time my husband was home. Everything went splendidly and we had a lot of fun--no attack. However this morning I had one---but at least it wasn't while I was babysitting my grandson.
Grand kids are the best!! When I have mine, it's go, go, got afterwards it rest, rest, rest. But I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm glad you had a good day! Just think of the memories you're making!
