I know In the depths of my mm hell I could not have done it without my mother and my wonderful and beautiful wife whom I affectionately call Chief. Everyday she told me we will get through this without ever a complaint and life will be good again. For a while I was not so sure but she sure was right in the end. ❤️❤️❤️
I wonder if we should have a Bad Mother's Day before Mother's Day. The way Devil's Night precedes Halloween. Instead of celebrating our moms, we call them up and berate them about the times they did us wrong. Instead of sending flowers we send them a dead fish.
Oh, gosh -- no, Pupper. Right now my daughter thinks I'm decent; I've been a single mother since she was 5 and wouldn't want to give her an opportunity to reflect on all the mistakes up to her 28th birthday, which we celebrated yesterday.
I think we should just concentrate on the positive. Mothers are humans. They can and make mistakes. I'm a daughter and a mother and yesterday was a day of celebration and love. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm thankful that today i'm not struggling with mother issues. i feel crappy when i forget that mt mother is human and therefore faliable so for my own sake every time i get mad i try to remember i have a good life today.
You made me laugh, Pupper. I had a malignant narcissist for a “mother”. She didn’t make mistakes. She was vile. Not everyone one has the Hallmark mother daughter experience and those who do don’t get it.
I am Almost sorry I posted this thread. I could never imagine not being thankful for the sacrifices my wife and mother made. Are/were they perfect parents...no but neither am I or you the perfect parent, son or daughter. I should never have posted this thread.
