    Hello,

I am new here but not to Meniere's I was Diagnosed in 1992 at the ripe age of 17. I had a shunt installed in my left ear. in that surgery the doctor discovered that me endolymphatic sac was little more then scar tissue and the surgery was not going to be as successful as hoped. After all the testing and rather aggressive symptoms I was really just happy to have a diagnosis. We now know this as AIED but easier to tell people it is Meniere's.

I work as a Solutions Architect and have been working heavily the last couple years doing analytics for clinical trials with the focus for the last 2 years on mostly Covid. Love Scuba diving and spending time with my wife.

I do have one questions. On December 26th of 2019 I developed Covid symptoms and proceeded to be very sick for the following three weeks. My coworkers were passing around some "flu" and large numbers of coworkers had to stay home sick. At that point Covid was not a thing anyone really thought about. I did get tested for the antibodies and tested positive. Ever since getting sick with Covid I have noticed my ears having more issues. Has anyone else experienced this as well?
