Okay folks, my sons getting married soon and I need a song for the Mother/Groom dance.
I'd like it to sweet and sentimental.
Of course he's into music I can't understand the lyrics to. He's not much into country but I am. I love pop, too, so anything might be, "The Song."

Please give me some good ideas! :)

I like the rascal flats song seems a but more upbeat and not as sad as the other one.

  7. Hi Karen, I thought it had a little sadness to it also. I loved the other song as well.

Good luck Bea! You'll find the perfect song.

Okay Bea I did a little thinking lol.... Scary I know I came up with a few Phil Collins You'll be in my heart. Stevie Wonder You are the sunshine of my life, Lynyrd Skynyrd – “Simple Man” (this one I think your son might like the best) Louis Armstrong – “What A Wonderful World” Natalie Cole – “Unforgettable” Those are the ones I came up with I hope I helped!

I danced with one of my sons to Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World and the other son the Beatles In My Life. I am sure you will find one that fits the special occasion. :)

Thanks you guys! Most of those songs are on the lists I checked out. I want a song with meaning. One that doesn't make everyone cry, although most of my family will cry anyway. LOL.
Just looking for the one that gets my sentiments across. I can't find one that includes past emotions with future wishes so it's on or the other.
I'm leaning towards My Wish as it's a little upbeat and the lyrics are spot on. But I'm listening to all of your choices. Who thought something like this would be so hard! LOL!
I love listening to music so it's not much of a hardship. I've also run some past my future DIL to get her take.
    Fun, fun, fun!
