Can someone out there tell me if with vertigo after 60 days and still having it do you feel sad and discouraged too? I am so down and so tired of this an emotional mess. I believe in God and my faith is not wavered however I am not understanding God not putting his healing hand on me. I have had a lot of doctors and Friday the 12th of June I get results of my ENG, but truthfully will it change or will it ever go away. Someone give me some sort of better feeling please. My husband has been very supportive but he has never had Vertigo so I do not think he can fathom the feeling. I am sad, tired and discouraged. Thank you.....Patricia

    Patricia,

It is very easy to become sad, depressed, and tired is a part of Menieres.
It was explained to me that the continuous signals being sent to the brain resulting in the ears trying to compensate for vertigo and the vertigo result in fatigue.

I've had days and days of nothing but weak, tired, and sleep.

My saving grace was the antiviral treatment you can read about in many of the threads here. Hopefully your Dr. Is up to date on current treatments. However, if you research here and print some of the information about antiviral treatments, you may be able to suggest to your Dr that this is the road you'd like to explore.

It doesn't work for everyone but it has helped many. And it does take a couple months for maximum results.
My dosage is 400mg. Of Acyclovir 3X a day.

I've tried many things to date always opting for the less invasive treatments and preserving my hearing. I'm bilateral so some options were not viable for me.

You may also consider OTC Allergy Meds. I'm taking Zyrtec and that makes a difference too.

I'm having complications, as you may have read, but that has nothing to do with the antivirals.

Please don't be sad. You may need something for depression as many of us have battled that, too.

You've come to the right place for information, research, and support.
    It can be manageable.
You need to talk, you send me a PM. I'll be happy to help.

Good Luck at the Dr. Appointments!!

Patricia, can you describe your vertigo? What happens, what are you feeling/seeing? How long is the attack?

Patricia are you saying you have vertigo every day for 60 days?? Did you have an MRI to rule out other causes? The vertigo you refer to is it rotational vertigoand I ditto nicmger's question please describe your vertigo attacks.
