I wonder why some people think it's an insult to call other people old. Getting old is a privilege denied to many.

Age is just a number. Just means you've lived more years than someone else. With age comes wisdom, more compassion and more people to love. If you live to be old, you'll see that there's not anything wrong with it. You'll still be the same person. You'll still have the same thoughts. In your mind, you won't feel old.

I've been married to the same great guy for nearly 45 years. I'm a grandma. I'm content. More than content. I'm blissed out. If this is what growing old brings. I'm all in.
