(I think my MM is caused by some sort of pressure or obstruction instead of viral, fungal, etc. Long story ...)

I probably need a different antibiotic. I might make an apt with my ENT. Also I tired the steamer with a vicks pad I couldn't take the smell for more than 1 minute, could be my MAV I am very sensitive to smells. I am draining now and then I can taste it ewww. But I am almost done with the antibiotic and my sinus cavities are still a little congested. But it has been incredibly humid every single day for weeks here which isn't helping me at all. I might get the courage to try the sinus buster today. If I doo I will post what happened.
I just sprayed the sinus buster in one nostril once and its stinging If I survive this I will do the other.
I didn't spray the other nostril because all it did was sting my nostril for a few minutes it stayed clogged then I felt even more pressure on my face and ear on the side where I sprayed. The weird thing is the other nostril loosened up and has been running slightly ever since. My body is so strange lol I just spoke to my doctor and he said I am okay the infection is gone and the swollen eyes is not from the sinus infection, he says its from allergies. Which made me happy but then my neighbor came over for a few minutes and her upper eyelids were swollen just like mine LOL So I will see how things go being off antibiotics. Hopefully my Dr is right. I was feeling pretty depressed about it all but now feel better after talking to my Dr and seeing my neighbor
Hope it continues to clear up for you Vicki. I'm on day 6 of my antibiotic and at first it seemed to be helping. The headache and face pain is about gone but my right nostril and ear (mm side) continue to be clogged up tight. Started using sudafed yesterday but I think it added to my dizziness so today I started Flonase instead. Even went to my NUCCA hoping that might help. I don't usually get sinus infections and this is no fun. I don't envy you having to deal with this.
thanks Sharon and that's wht happened to me the second day on the antibiotic I did not feel feverish anymore the sinus pain and headache stopped I felt so much better and then the next day my gland stopped hurting but since then I feel fine..not sick but the eye swelling is still there and slight congestion in my cheeks. I am sure tho the extreme humid weather is adding a lot to it. FYI MM and sinus issue are common. I hope you feel better!
I was afraid to something in case I would jinx myself, I finished the antibiotics yesterday and feel well today BUT as bad as the sinusitis was with all that sinus congestion, swollen eyes and clogged ears etc I did not get 1 dizzy spell or any vertigo, in fact I did not even raise my dose of acyclovir. Truly a miracle for me!
