apply for disability. it won't hurt anything. That would be the first thing I would do if I got to a point where I could not work until I figured something else out. Also search for companies that help disable people find job. There is support for this and there are non profits who help with this. If you still have your hearing telemarketing may be a good option or date entry. Look for part time jobs with flex schedules where you have to meet quotas not set hours. And there is always the option to sell things on line. People buy silly stuff. But I get it is hard to by stuff if you can't get around and drive.
