Well, I was kind of hoping I could dump the profile on here and that I just had some whacky infection. Since I was here over a month ago I have had several tests. We ruled out BPPV, labarynthitis, acoustic neuromA.
I went for my hearing test today and I have reverse cookie bite hearing loss in both ears. Moderate to severe. The EENT suspects that I've had Ménière's for quite some time and simply chalked it up to being tired or ignored it. I have had "dizzy spells" before, but I was always on a cane and on pain meds (had both knees replaced over the last two years) so perhaps I just thought it was from the meds.
Anyway, I got my dx. I started on triamterene 37.5mg/HCTZ 25 mg today, told to limit salt, increase potassium and take this med for one month and then we will check vertigo and retest ears to grab a baseline and talk about hearing aids.
I was chastised for waiting to long.
    Oh well.
So, hi folks, how are you?

I'm sorry you've suffered so bad and I hope the new treatment works.
