read somewhere about colloidal silver, noni juice and samento for the immune system anyone out there tried any of this? ordered it today geez i need to make a list of all the crap i've tried over the years
I know nothing of those things. I was wondering if methotrexate is ever used for MM. Caveat!! I am not suggesting it. I know nothing about whether it would be a very good thing or a very bad thing. I know someone taking it for another condition related to immune overactivity and it made me wonder. I know it has baggage as a medicine.
Tell us why "you should stay away from that "crap." Why is it "crap?" Evidence, or personal opinion? An unexplained "thought" is not really useful information, just an unsubstantiated opinion. The phrase "Really" fails to inform. We need, all of us, to be careful to separate personal opinions and mystical conjectures from substantiated evidence. The forum will be far more helpful if we all restrict ourselves to known facts, physiological mechanisms, etc. The question was, "anyone out there tried any of this?" That was the question to be answered. It did not solicit anyone's personal off-hand thinkings on the materials referred to in the posting. --John of Ohio
Avoid the colloidal silver. It does have anti-infective qualities, but it's a heavy metal that accumulates in the body. Many people have had their skin turn bluish-grey from taking it. The FDA declares it "unsafe." Noni is OK, as far as I can tell. I know people who have taken it for years with no ill effects. Not familiar with sameto.
