Does anyone get increased ear fullness or tinnitus when doing strength training exercises?

Yes, I do, Grapejuice. Also when I am carrying heavy loads e.g. my wet laundry from the cellar to the third floor.
When exercising, I take care that I don't get any pressure on my neck. Pressure on my neck is making everything worse. Pain, sounds, numbness in the right side of my face. Even imbalance.
l try to relax my neck as often as possible and doing a bit of facial lymphdrainage daily.
What is your experience, as you ask?

    Greetings from Lilja

In my case it is the opposite. When I exercise I notice my ears open.

Exercise starts to cause my left ear to fill. Staying hydrated helps. I also get numbness on that side of my face, and in my tongue. I believe this is due to a nerve being pressed on in cervical spine. I am looking into a nerve ablation between c-3 and c-4 as this is where I have arthritis in my neck.
