I am a long time ago participant in this forum. Always a help when I needed it. I need it again.

For many with MM one component is hearing loss. I have been deaf with bilateral Menieres for 15 years. Coped with good home support and new technology.

Recently I had understood that the new iPhone iOS would be fully TTY/Relay/VCO capable. Just got off the phone (using my old trusty 15 year old Ameriphone land line) with both my state relay service and Apple support. Both confirm that the new system is only TTY capable. Apple still simply does not understand that to be fully supportive of the deaf and hearing impaired community they need to allow VCO capability on a relay call. Millions of people are impacted. And left only to peck at their cell phone vs being able to seamlessly make a VCO call like they can at home. Yes there are automated voice recognition apps out there....but often end up with gibberish vs text you can count on from the relay operator.

Please....if you will....consider going on line....apple.com ....go to feedback....and simply ask that with the next operating system update.....to make VCO a reality for those of us who can't hear.

    Thanks folks.
