Progress Updates 2017 As of Jan 2017, we have implanted two subjects in the MVI vestibular implant trial. Both are doing well so far. The John Hopkins Vestibular Prosthesis is coming and coming fast. One of the participants was interviewed and after 10 years of having lost all vestibular function in both ears and dealing with nystagmus and osscillopsia is now able to walk on a balance beam with no problem and says he feels like he could get on his motorcycle and ride across country.
