The warming of the sun to start my day
Any sight that takes my breath away
A kiss that makes my knees go weak

A little piece of the happiness I seek

Finding a new reason to laugh out loud
Laying in the grass watching a cloud
Sharing a smile to lift the day’s gloom
With an old familiar face across the room

A glass of wine with homemade bread
Reading a book while laying in bed
The radio playing an old favorite song
Forgetting the words, still singing along

At the computer, emailing old friends
Hanging off every word that each one sends
Accomplishing a task or a difficult goal
Stirs a little pride that’s good for the soul

A country drive, it doesn’t matter where
Windows open, the wind blowing our hair
All day to ourselves with nothing to do
The nicest of all is when you say”I love you”

Fear less, hope more
Worry less, laugh more
Talk less, say more
Hate less, Love more
