Eating anything sweet can be very addictive.I'm trying to eliminate as much processed sugar from my diet.Labels can often be confusing. Some may say on the front no added sugar.Turn the bottle around and on the back it might say 27 g.I'm not sure if single digit amounts will suffice or if double digit amounts will suffice. How much sugar is too much?
By the way I am not diabetic. My fasting glucose is 91.I think the acceptable range is 70-110.

The labels are confusing for sodium as well. It could say low sodium or lower sodium and though it might be less than the regular package, its still by no means actually low in sodium.

As for sugar, I don't know how much is too much, but I think it's more important to pay close attention to how you feel. I usually eat a fairly low sugar diet, but I do eat sweets every once in a while. When I do, I can always feel it affecting me negatively. If you cut sugar out of your diet for a little while, when you add it back in, you get a much clearer understanding of how it is affecting you.
