Well, the forum has certainly changed and it looks like everyone is posting in one thread, 145 pages long! LOL I have been just fine for 5 or 6 years, Famvir anti-virals from India did the trick for me. But now I am getting attacks and all the usual symptoms again. I think stress and maybe dental work brought it on, who knows. Anyway, I have not read the 145 page long thread, but just want to say hi, and see if I can see some familiar names. I have seen Poppa Joe, June, JOH.
Did you have the attack taking antivirals or do you mean that after taking them and stopping taking them you were fine for six years and now you have had a new attack?
I mean that I credit antivirals (famcyclovir for me) with stopping almost all Menieres symptoms for 6 years. When I was "in the clear" for a time, maybe a year? I stopped the AVs. So I went approx 5 years absolutely normal, except for tinnitus. I had pretty much forgotten all about MD until it came back about a month ago.
