    Hello all

I am hoping this thread might help us figure out what to eat to heal our bodies from Meniere's.

I have to find lower salt options while also keeping in mind low carb (to keep pre-diabetes at bay).

Today for breakfast I had 2 poached eggs with 1 slice Sargento swiss cheese (35 g salt), 1/2 avocado, homemade hollandaise sauce (without flour but plenty of lemon).

Let's get the ideas rolling on this thread. We definitely can help our bodies by cleaning up our diet.

    Thank you!

I have to admit that I have drastically increased my carbs since going low sodium. I eat a lot of homemade banana, cornbread and lately pumkin bread. Eventually I plan to avoid sugar; I'll start with desserts. I felt the best when i first started lo so and ate a lot of whole grains and fresh vegetables - sauteed, steamed and roasted. Then I wanted more variety but got depressed and lazy and stopped making the effort to feed myself well. I'll keep trying.
    My best to everyone.
