Hi, since last week my daily dizziness is still ongoing. it's hard to walk straight. could it be MAV? if i read some of the migraine trigger is citrus. could lemon bioflavanoid and vitamin C trigger the MAV, if it's indeed MAV that's causing my dizziness? thanks
Sorry you are going through that. Those ongoing things are no fun. I have MAV and don't have a problem with lemon bioflavenoids or vitamin C, but that doesn't mean you won't. There are so many migraine triggers, and they are so varied by person. If you suspect something I'd try avoiding it for a few days and see what happens. I hope you find a solution soon!
thanks Bythebay, I'll avoid lemon bio & vit c for several days and see what happens. usually everyday my dizziness starts around lunch time and in the morning i take those vitamins. but I'll also try to avoid migraine trigger food on my breakfast. will keep update.
Most people that are diagnosed with meniere's actually have MAV or have both. Citrus can be a trigger for some either totally or depending on how they are feeling at the time but the only way to know is to abstain for a few weeks then try it again to see if you notice anything. Depending on how one feels can alter the results at the time too so trying a couple of times is better. There's tons of really great info about MAV on this forum especially in the database and in the old files.
I don't have much to offer. I may have MAV, I may not. I have a few lemon and orange trees. I eat lemons they way I do oranges because I'm bitter. I've felt dizzy during these periods of lemon consumption, and dizzy when there were no lemons to eat. I've helped you not at all. Thank you.
::laughing hysterically:: Oh, how I’ve missed you Pupper! I certainly hope better times are ahead for all.
I've been on MAV diet for about 2 weeks now, maybe more. I see no change in dizzy. I have an appt. with MAV-MM specialist tomorrow. I'm gonna go, but what's the point? I'd rather spend my time with the clinic's allergy specialist so we can focus on antivirals. Just tired of wasting time on things that haven't helped. Still on antivirals and will continue to take them.
I wouldn't quit the MAV diet after only two weeks. Some triggers take a long time to kick in, or leave your system.
Talk to everyone. You dont know what you dont know and you dont know who's going to be the one to help you. Good luck. Stay positive as possible.
