My new allergist suggested I go see this well known Dr affiliated with Mt Sinai in NYC. For those who do not know Mt Sinai is the foremost hospital where allergy research is done. This Dr discovered a Chinese herbal formula that prevents anaphylaxis in case of cross contact with ones allergen, which is a major concern for people like me with a life threatening food allergy. It is in phase 3 of clinical trials and is well known in the allergy and immunology field and is being dispensed by the Dr who discovered it, in her practice. Her office emailed me several forms to fill out prior to having my appointment. I have filled out probably 100's of medical forms when going to a new doctor in my life and always had to write in Meniere's Disease under "Other", but this was the first time I saw Meniere's Disease listed with a check box next to it in the patient medical history form. I was impressed to see it there.
