If you had to put together a list of tests a.person should have to determine if they have Meniere's or something else what would you have done and be looking for?

    Thanks

I'll write the list of all the test I have done
    1. hearing test (audiometry)
    2. caloric test (vestibulometry)
    3. MRI of the head
    4. MRI of the neck
    5. CT of temporal bones
    6. ultrasound screening of the abdomen
    7. X-ray of the spine
    8. X-ray of the stomach
    9. otoacoustic emissions
    10. 24h blood pressure monitor (it is called Holter here, not sure the other places)
    11. eye bottom check
    12. blood tests of all the kinds
    13. ultrasound (transcranial and extracranial) of blood vessels of the neck
    14. CT angiography of the brain
    15. auditory potentials of the brain stem

If I remember some other I'll add up

I will also do MRI of the temporal bones to check if endolymphatic hydrops is present.

Not all the tests were really needed, as for a few years it was not clear that my problems were due to inner ear. My hearing is all the time good, and I never had aural fullness. I have mild tinnitus all the time (mostly in my right ear), increasing during vertigo episode mostly in my left ear (go figure). And I have vertigo/imbalance episodes, not so frequently - for now.
