Ive been on monularin for the last few months and it definitely helps

My right ear dizzyness/ hearing loss symptoms kicked off 2 years ago, The ENT specialist believes it is MAV because im also light sensitive

i decided to take my health into my own hands and had a range of functional testing done, And it was discovered i had a major yeast/candida issue, i believe this is what has triggered my health problems

I have been on a sugar restricted diet since but noticed a significant improvement when i started the monularin, im still not 100 percent but its at a manageable level at present, i will be keeping this in my supplement regimen long term

Also if you have the flu like effects when you start taking this, its most likely you have a candida/yeast issue also

    hi Marta

Can I ask where you got your Lauricidin from? Im in the Uk too and interested in trying it. Just having too much time off work recently. A lot of stress isn't helping either.

    thanks!

    Hi Baloo

I decided to try Lauricidin after reading Lulu's success.

No doubt Marta will answer your question but I thought I would let you know where I got my supply. I'm also from the UK.

I emailed the manufacturers Lauricidin to ask where is there a UK distributor of their product pure monolaurin. They recommended JG Supplements.com who are in Stockport. I paid £29 plus £3 for postage by 1st class post. That was just over a week ago and I received the order the next day.

I'm taking the Monolaurin for general health reasons and for arthritis and digestion problems. I take as suggested the 1/4 scoop 3 times a day with food. No side effects. Obviously early days but my stomach already is calmer. I will build the dosage gradually but like Marta no side effects to date

I totally believe that the original cause of my menieres was viral having had shingles about 20 years ago. The virus was just waiting until I was stressed to hell. Therefore anything that can keep the virus at bay I believe is worth having. BTW I don't suffer from vertigo any more. The last bout was in 2009.

    Hope you have success

    Wishing you well

    Frank

Thank you very much Frank (& Marta and upgrader).

I've had a lot of gent treatment and although I'm loads better I get a lot of imbalance and fuzzy head. I've found it a real strain trying to keep working full time. My work colleagues just simply don't understand and although sympathetic in the beginning have now run out of patience and have no real interest in trying to understand.

I was never offered antivirals and didn't know about it at all except through this forum. I'm not sure what caused my symptoms. I had occasional attacks over many years but then it all got much worse. That was after a lot of stress so I'm sure it must have had an impact.

    thanks again!

Baloo , for your imbalance , have you tried a physio therapy? It really works as long as you persevere and are consistent . I haven't heard of anyone in UK being offered antivirals as MM treatment. However there are other sources of getting them. ( expensive!)
People , even those who try really hard, will never understand where you are coming from. I work full time ( haven't lost my job yet ) and I know how hard it is. And stress, our main enemy, if only we could avoid it!! Good luck!!

An update: 3 days on Lauricidin, die off effects have turned up. At least I think that's it! I don't have flu-like symptoms but I feel... lightheaded? It's hard to describe. It's like an attack that is creeping up but I am still in balance. I am not 100% sure it its Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction. in a way I would like it to be, otherwise it would mean I am doing worse than before.
I found this link about die-off effects:

I hope the die off effects pass quickly. for candida die off effects dizziness is listed. and here is some type of forum that people talk about light headedness from die off effects.

Hi all, I've been taking lauricidin bought from the manufacturer for about a week now at varying doses just to see what I can or cannot tolerate. I had some stomach upset at 1/4 of a scoop twice a day so I've tapered down to roughly 1/4 scoop a day now which seems to be ok. I haven't noticed any improvement yet but I don't expect that until I work up to 3 scoops per day for extended periods of time. Will stay the course strong on this one.

Also Marta, I'm not sure what dose you've been taking but I've seen many on amazon.com forum saying to start slow this way the body has mini battles with the pathogens and the side effects are hardly noticeable. I haven't had any flu like symptom but a tickly throat which I never get has popped up here and there.

Prozeal, you are right I rushed it! My first dose was 15 pellets-1/4 of a scoop ( I counted them!) but the second one was half a scoop 3xday for 3 days. Today I detoxicated my body with a high dose of vitamin C and I must say I feel much better. From now on, I am going to take 1/4 once a day only for some time. Low and slow, I have learnt my lesson!

Glad you are feeling better Marta. I was tempted to take a full scoop several times but I held back.

I never thought I'd get to say these words but today is my one year 'vertigo-free' anniversary. :)

I want to send my best wishes and prayers to all of you who are giving Lauricidin a go. I so hope you'll have good results from it and you'll be able to share your one year anniversary with all of us. Your life is precious and so are you and you deserve to live that life free of all the miseries that MM induced vertigo brings with it.

Take care and blessings to all of you.
    Lulu ♥

So happy to hear this! May you have many more healthy, vertigo-free years.

Do we still have the Success Stories thread somewhere? If so, I hope you will add your story to it.

Such wonderful news for you Lulu and long may it continue! I'm assuming you followed/follow a low sodium diet. Since you've stopped spinning have you found that you can relax this a bit and eat or drink things now and then that you couldn't have before - or are you still strictly following it?

I have been on Lauricidin Monolaurin for only 3 weeks but am so far finding it miraculous (touch wood). At Christmas I completely stopped eating all cake, sweets, chocolate and biscuits, and right now I'm looking for any excuse to have a nice bit of cake again ;D

Marta you're a girl after my own heart....I love cheesecake! :) I sincerely hope I can celebrate your one year vertigo-free anniversary with a big slice of cheesecake as well. Have you had anymore attacks since the one you suffered the other day? I'm so hoping you haven't......

Miss June thank you for reminding me about the Success Stories thread. I had completely forgotten about it! I suppose because I never thought I'd be able to post on it. It's nice to see you again and I hope you're doing well. :)

Keefer Soc Muffin I don't have any Meniere's related dietary restrictions now but I still try to follow a low sodium diet due to hypertension. I'm so happy to hear you're doing well with the Lauricidin! If you want, I give you my permission to go have that nice bit of cake. Five months without cake is just too darn long and I say that as one who had a slice of chocolate cake after dinner last night. :D
