I don't know. Sons ex gets the kids because it's Mothers Day. After church and pics, (she better let us take pics, I've been waiting a long time for her to mess up.) Anyway, after we're going out to dinner. I very rarely go out to eat. I'll let you know. Sighs
This will be just the immediate family and no kids since the grands are our only grandchildren. Made my son promise to let me go video game shopping next time they come down. The money we give goes into their college fund. Traditions. Bittersweet
I just realized something. I'm not just a mother for my children. I'm a mother of 3 dogs and 4 cats that depend on my care and love to thrive. I'm not just a grandmother to my grandchildren. We've had some very grown-up conversations and they know I don't tell their dad. That's special and they're sharing more now. I'm a mother to my new DIL. There's a good reason she calls me Mom. She's and I have had private conversations as well. I think I'm becoming a "mother" to my husband, as well. ROFLMA

Seriously? You didn't tell me! How old and what markings? As you pet them and look into their eyes, it looks like they know what you're thinking and with love. Magnificent. I realize that my friends, even those older, I'm a mother as well.
