    My neurooto told me there are some new MRI procedures that could confirm, by imaging of temporal bone, the existence of hydrops in inner ear.
    I found a review article on the subject:

    Wondering if anybody went through this kind of imaging?

    its been around for awhile but I don't think its available in the USA
