I'm creating a new thread to post my case and not to mess with other people's personal threads :)

    Quote myself again.

I've been taking lysine and vit C since april 24th, nothing changed.

In addition, today I have gone to my ENT and she changed my treatment a bit. She prescribed Serc again but 16mgx3 combined with Flunarizine (FLURPAX 5 mg) because I often suffer migraines. My audiometry looks like the same than last year (attached).
I also told her about herpes simplex and she is aware about the problems in Meniere with HSV-1 so that's good for me :)

In 3 months I have to go again and tell her my progress (attacks, dizzines, cold sores, etc) so I'll keep you updated.

If the lysine works, don't expect changes before six months. You may have some improvement and relapse in the meantime, but taking lysine for a month will do nothing.

If your ENT in Spain knows the relationship with herpes, it is already a novelty, my ENT doctor did not even want to read the report that I sent him to prescribe antivirals.

I told her like it's a possibility, and I didn't ask for antivirals yet but still good news. In last 2 months I had 5 or 6 episodes of cold sores/fever/swollen lymph nodes in my neck... and all of them related to hard tinnitus and dizziness.
But if Flurpax & Serc combo works they are welcome :D

I'm doing great this week with flurpax, migraine and headache are almost gone (just stays this hangover feeling in my head). Ear fulness is lower than previous two months, tinnitus remains the same. No dizziness, no cold sores.

So you have is a vestibular migraine and not Meniere Congratulations! (The migraine is no better, but there are definitely more weapons against it than there are for Meniere.)

My ENT told me that I suffer other Meniere's symptos, so she is trying to figure out what treatment works better for me.
