I am glad that it is working for you. Would be GREAT if your dr would agree to prescribe it as it seems like it is pretty costly ordering from that place online. I say "costly" knowing that initially I was paying cash for my meds too but it was WORTH every penny to get relief. But would be better for your checkbook if your dr would prescribe for sure!
Many people have a setback here or there. The fact that you were feeling relief and almost symptom free for 11 days straight - that is GREAT! Keep with the A/V and I hope you will see continued improvement. It took me almost 8 weeks before I was "good". But everyday, ANY day that I was vertigo free was a good day! Focus on the many good days and how great you were feeling!
I agree with what nicmger said bit also Marta if you are not taking JOH's lysine amount you need to watch what foods you eat too. MM has food triggers, if your intake of arginine is higher than lysine you can and most likely will bring on an attack. For example if you eat a lot of nuts or dried fruit or any food with a high arginine to lysine ratio, you will tip the scales towards an attack even on an antiviral.
I follow JOH regimen very strictly. I take Lysine 5000mg a day. Perhaps it's too much. And my diet seems to be ok. Waiting... still hoping.... Thank you for your responses.
I found an interesting article about lysine vs arginine. I wasn't aware of it before. Thank you Viki for bringing it to my attention . http://www.sandiegohomeopathy.com/downloads/Lysine_Arginine_Foods.pdf
