I just had an occipital nerve block (twice) and it didn't help. The first time the meds went down into my tight trapezius muscles and seemed to calm things somewhat for a week; but the second time the injection went up into the back of my head, then my eyes, and actually made things worse for a couple of days. The doc is now recommending I try an SPG intranasal nerve block. Anyone had success with this?
I have never heard of this treatment for Meneires or vertigo. I think it us used for people with bad back pain but it sounds very scary to be used around the head. Yikes.
