Dear wonderful people, I have had my last vertigo episode one year plus two days ago. It was the tenth episode over a period of five and a half years. In short, I had no hearing loss, no fullness, but everlasting tinnitus in my right ear, and temporary tinnitus (along with vertigo) in my left ear. I gave a lot of information about my medical condition and circumstances elsewhere on this forum, so will not go further here, Anyway, it was the moment I had lost my nerve about the conventional medical assistance I had been receiving. I undertook my own quest for information. At first I visited a local language forum, with no help. Then I came along a UK Meniere forum, but also no help. I finally found this place, and it was a blessing. Thank you, I have been vertigo free for one year now. I follow dr Gacek's protocol (right now 800mg Acyclovir a day). I also follow JOH regimen (1000mg of L-Lysine). Thank you John! As I believe stress is a trigger for immune system malfunction, I also take Venlafaxine to calm down my nervous temper.... I avoid overindulging arginine high food too. My longest remission was 15 months, so I cannot be sure yet. I take so many pills, I plan to go like this for another year and, if I stay well, try to eliminate one thins at a time over a long period and see what happens. I am so happy I came across this place. Thank you once again!
I'm so pleased for you, Serbian! I wish you continued success and a lifetime of vertigo free days. Take care and be well!
