I have MAV. Maybe my hyperacusis is from that. I think the tinnitus and ear fullness are from MM. It can be hard to sort this out. The great thing about MAV is that if you can figure out what is triggering it you can eliminate those triggers and it goes away. Have you figured that out yet? For me, the main MAV trigger is eyestrain. When I got progressive lens and computer glasses things got much, much better.

Hi Danni noise sensitivity, light, smell, motion sensitivity, tinnitus and ear fullness are MAV symptoms. But man of us have MAV and MM.
You might want to check out the link in my signature about MAV and this link how to tell the difference between MAV and MM.

I found these and thought you might be interested considering your current condition.

Vicki also has links on her signature profile. They may help as well.

Truth, Vicki spent so much of her own personal time doing research and then sharing her findings with everyone here - newbies and people with lots of questions definitely benefited (and would benefit) from her knowledge if she was still participating here.
