My answers : 1. a few weeks 2. since taking acyclovir - a few times before acyclovir- every day for 2 months 3. since taking acyclovir - I'm on 3rd day in a row. But sometimes it's only been a day or half a day

Seldom...only if I eat foods high in arginine and low in lysine ( I avoid those now), or eat MAV food triggers during seasonal allergy months (I avoid those now during high pollen count days) or have a sinus infection. 3. How many full ear days in a row before clearing? Can take me 1-3 days depending what caused it.
I am happy for you. I am a full time musician and this full-time full ear is making it so I have to plug my left ear and just listen with my right ear. When my left ear clears, which it has on and off for a while now my music sounds sooooooooo much better. Today is the fourth day in a row that it has been full. I'm going to get the shingles vaccine. I am in my 61st year of life.
There are a disproportionate number of musicians on this board or so it seems to me. Just makes you wonder.
