    Hi,

For the past few years, I always attributed my dizziness / vertigo attacks to BPPV, but upon recent testing at a local ENT the doctor I saw told me that the ECOG portion of the testing I had done determined the presence of Meniere's. I do not have tinnitus, hence the "atypical" diagnosis I suppose. Up until now, I've been relying on the use of a product called "Divertigo" - essential oil drops that get placed behind the ear. It seems to work well for me, but of late the attacks have become so frequent (every few weeks) that I decided to go with my doctor's advice to try triamterine HCTZ. The only concern I have with this medicine is that I already have occasional dizziness issues caused by low pressure as a result of using flomax. So....I'm a bit hesitant to use yet another drug that might drive my blood pressure even lower thereby creating even more lightheadedness issues! Also, the increase in urination almost seems contrary to what the flomax is intended for. All that being said, I need to do something to try and reduce the frequency of these episodes. I am welcome to any and all advice, since this is all new to me.

    Thanks,
    Keith
