My left ear had been in burnout phase since I was a young child with no much hearing. I have had a very happy life with the other healthy ear! I only had three big episodes in the past fifty years. One and a half years ago, I had a bad brain fog and itchy skin condition. So I decided to go gluten-free. The brain fog disappeared in two days. The skin condition has improved. Unexpectedly my left ear has started to work little by little from none to almost 50%. Three days ago, I woke up with dizziness and strong nausea. I can’t get up for past three days, and it is getting worse. Has Anyone ever experienced this? How long will I be in this condition?
I have not experienced this, Proton, but it does sound similar to the initial reaction to the JOH regimen or anti-virals. Which is to say that the effectiveness of the treatment (gluten-free lifestyle) is causing the virus to put up a last ditch effort before being subdued. It may be horrible to go through, but it may be an indicator you're on the right track. All the best.
Thank you, teesdale. After three days of not being able to get up, I took one pill of Bonine. It worked well. It settled the episode. I am still dizzy, but I am able to live close to normal life. Driving is still very tiring. I did not take any more Bonine to which I felt like I would get addicted.... I am continuing gluten free diet, and I am also taking supplements of peppermint, ginger.... I am getting better little by little. Now I am thinking what I never thought about in my entire life of fifty years, "it might be actually curable!" All my life struggle was because of gluten, but I don't look back. I am very thankful that I can live a better life at this age. It is almost getting younger or something.
