    I have completely lost all control over my kids. They even laugh when I put them in time out. Nothing I do gets the attention of the nephew and 6 year old.

    The 9 year old is a parents dream the other two have almost driven me to counseling.

    BD, buddy you're obviously not doing something right. Fair is right, you take away their fav things!
    Yeah, they'll make a big fuss but it can't be any worse than it is now and should teach them you mean business and you'll do it again.

    I'd bet money you won't.

    Good advice, mommy is the take away artist, every time they do it, it works to perfection, when I do it, all I get are 20-30 minute meltdowns. Sometimes all you can do is throw your hands up and laugh about it.

    Mommy keeps telling me they look at me as their play friend and everyday is play day.

    I told her the problem is I work from home and am there, she goes to work. In most homes it's the other way around.

    To this day my kids have no idea what I do for a living, they don't even think I work because I am home and mommy is not.

    Unbelievable! Anybody up for a vacation. Lol

    Oh god me too!

    Power just went out in only half my house. Electric co says it's an internal problem. Electrician will be here first thing in the morning.

    BD, let them have the meltdowns. It won't hurt them and when they see you're not responding to it sooner or later they'll stop.,suck it up and do the right thing man!!!
