Has anyone experienced extra ringing when you put your hand next to the affected ear?

Also, had anyone tried the diuretic Maxide? And does it seem to work to resolve symptoms?

So far for me, I haven't had an episode of vertigo in a few years which I am so grateful for. I was recently diagnosed with Meniere's and it comes as a shock to me because I am fairly young considering most diagnoses occur in people 40 to 60 years old. I am quite healthy and don't eat out very much and I exercise.

I have hearing loss in my affected ear. The attacks that come and go are tinnitus, aural fullness, and hearing loss. Whenever an attack happens, it starts very gradually like people are murmuring and speaking more quietly than normal. Then the ear fullness and tinnitus appear. The worst part about this is convincing others that I have MD and the tinnitus. Anyone else feel similar?

Maxzide should be the correct spelling instead. Has anyone tried it?

I've taken it for years. It seems to help my ears not to feel so full and to help the hearing a little. Some people discount the effectiveness.
