Great game, The USA can be proud of themselves and their effort. It really is a beautiful game, I wonder why it is slow to catch on in North America (US and Canada) among adults, the kids seem to love it and then loose interest once they get to be about 10-12. Then they all want to be Tom Brady, Mike Trout and Lebron James.
Because NFL & NBA are much more entrenched in American culture. If a child wants to be respected for their athletic ability, they will predominantly lean towards sports which are of higher priority to their family, culture & media priorities - which is dictated by adult preference. Random question for personal interest; Are American NFL fields oriented in any random direction, like AFL ovals are here in Australia? Or are they specifically north/south, or east/west oriented? I'm wondering how many behinds (which is what it’s called here when the football hits a goal post) & "dead" (is that what its called in NFL when field goal attempts strike the uprights?) kicks would be prevented, or how games & scores would be effected, if fields were oriented in accordance to the coriolis effect.
Don't know. The playoffs were very exciting. Got down to the last five chances at a goal. That's fun to watch. The Norwegians won.
I want Brazil and the Netherlands to win tomorrow , but I think Germany will win the World Cup I want Brazil
Can't wait until Sundays game, we will be at a barbecue and I hope they have it on. Otherwise we will record it.
I want Germany to win WC tomorrow. Espn needs to move on from the LBJ news and analysis. I m ready for some NFL action. The Bills should move to Toronto and Jaguars to London. Go Falcons in NFC and Dolphins in AFC Redskins are my sleeper!
Congratulations to Germany. I feel bad for Messi but I thought the better team won. Argentina sure had their chances though. Will watch the O's and Yankees tonight on Espn game if the week.
