    Hi Lisa,

I had one injection about a month after being diagnosed. I was doing a ton of other stuff too. I don't think the injection did anything much in my case and the procedure was highly traumatic. My MD's think it is only for extreme cases when other things cannot be tolerated and is only a short-term releif solution. Have you read up on anti-virals and JOH regimen here. I would suggest that first.

    Best of luck to you!

Thank you for your response I am going to call
My dr tomorrow and ask about anti viral
Meds. Hopefully that is my answer. This week everyday
Feels like my hearing in my left ear is
Getting worse i don't know if this is on with mm or
    If
It's just progressing unusually fast thank again
For your help its nice to talk to people who
    Understand

Make sure to do the search here on the site and print out the anti viral study protocol. It will be helpful as you have the conversation with your doctor. A lot of them will not be immediately open as they don't personally think the a/v will work. In that case, I would try to push back with "what's the harm of trying for a few months". Most people do start to feel some relief with a/v within the first few months (maybe not perfect, but "some" relief). Important to follow the protocol for dosage though because if they start out with the low maintenance dose it won't give you what you need.

My sinus issues play a huge role for me with my ears and attacks. Allergies are supposed to be really bad this year - sharing in case this is something to watch for.

Yes Lisa anitvirals are not on MM protocol lists of most MD's. Be sure to read the report so you can discuss it. Your MD may or may not read it. Better to wait and go in prepared because once you get a no, this is much harder to overcome.

I think too it is best to try one thing at a time so you know what is working and what is not. The JOH regimen can all be ordered online with no MD input. If you do indeed have MM this may help quite a lot reversing the trend.

    Keep us posted, ok?

I actually called her office and she said exactly
That its not protocol but she did contact the
Pharmacy and agreed to let me try
Although I didn't pick up yet so not sure
Which one or the dosage but at least she
Was ok with it hoping this helps thank u
    :)
