Five days ago I had a steroid injection of Decadron into my big toe, which has helped with my arthritis problems in that toe. However, I am not for sure, but it seems like my tinnitus is much louder since about six hours after I received the injection. Has anyone else experienced this kind of increase in their tinnitus following steroid injections?
Steroid alters how your immune system works, that is all I can say in general. Your tinnitus may be completely unrelated to this, as tinnitus might become loud by change in posture, such as forward head posture that affects your neck and circulation.
