Has anyone taken steroids along with antivirals? The antivirals have been working well with constant improvements over the past three weeks. I think I may have caught another bug/virus at the weekend and now BOOM my vertigo is back but it's worse than ever; violent spinning and vommiting. I'm desperate to get some relief. I am going to increase my antiviral dose. I was wondering if oral steroids would help me aswell. Has anyone ever tried the two treatments together?? I'm afraid that the steroids may inhibit the antivirals!
I have taken both at the same time... i did not notice any side effects. I take the steroids to get rid of a cold/sickness. Not for vertigo. For me...it never worked for vertigo.
