I haven't had 'vertigo' since i had the shunt surgery 3 years ago! Still, as you know from my posts, am dealing with daily imbalance from mild to not so mild, and dizzyness and light headedness and also adjusting to thyroid meds that are new for me. Last night, during a musical rehearsal, I had been singing awhile, feeling a bit dizzy as usual, but suddenly the inside of my head, right side--felt like a 'brain squeeze' for want of a better word. I silently said 'wow'! After that, felt nauseous and very 'anxious'. Was so glad when we finally got finished with rehearsal and found I had more trouble with balance when walking as we left. Today have felt 'awful'. Dizzy and fatigue and my head just 'not right'. Hoping this doesn't mean 'vertigo' is about to rear it's ugly head! Have had xanax today--2 and usually only take that amount-but can take 3 if needed. Just trying not to rely on that much daily. It does help with the anxiety from this--so I feel it's a 'necessary medication' to keep on keeping on. Just hope it's not part of the problem. You just never know. Anyway, has anyone had this feeling inside your head? Felt like my brain got 'squeezed' or did a slight turn, and that sounds weird I know, but I don't know another way to describe it. It has happened a couple of times but I was sitting down and relaxing when it happened and it went away and no problems followed. This time, I have felt more after effects. Strange!
