Surgery to remove scar bands?

    Has anyone had a surgical procedure to remove scar bands that may be obstructing the round window so that gentamicin can work properly? If so, where did you have it done and was it effective?

    Interested in this. Doesn’t seem much know about it. I’ve been doing gentamicin drops for 4 days and no effect yet.
