So following everyone's advice - we took our trip to Europe for 3 weeks. Got back yesterday and as you see in the title I wrote; "Survived". Yes we had some amazing times and experiences, but the attacks came regularly. Some in the most awkward places. On a positive note, I have gained unexpected courage in coping.Reason being, the majority of the spells would take place in the most awkward places. If my husband had been by my side I couldnt have risked it. We puzzled to think what could trigger them? -Sitting eating dinner in a pedestrian only area with no cars or taxis - 3 hours into a 6 hour hike where there was no option but to carry on walking and climbing over stiles (gates) - Walking along busy high streets One realization was that when the attacks were taking place I needed to plug my ears as any sound like a bus or loud voices made it worse. Another realization was that if I moved my neck once in an awkward position, it would trigger the attack? So am back to square one. Really had hight hopes with the Lauricidin. But none are working. Johns Regimen and Valocyclavyr . What to do next? Seek out a new ENT and should I consider withdrawing one medication. Wish I could feel optimistic - Sorry to be whining.......
If moving your neck a certain way can trigger a vertigo attack than I would check into Nucca or something similar to see if getting aligned can take off the pressure and eliminate the trigger.
Jen, have you considered MAV? I have just ordered the book recommend by jaypr " Heal your headache " by David Buchholz. I believe everything is worth trying.
