Hello all I am having another attack and my ENT referred me to a new doc in the office whom suggested that I was having a vestibular migraine possibly. Has anyone heard this before? I took a migraine med as he suggested and of course it did not resolve my symptoms. He did order more in depth testing because although I have hearing loss in my left ear, i have right sided symptoms. I just got over shingles IN my right eye. I am starting to think that I may have MD in both ears although he tells me that is rare. I have a hard time describing the sound that is in my ears and I am wondering if anyone else can verify or enlighten me on this. It sounds like something is scraping or brushing or even muffled ch ch ch sounds. almost like the friday the 13th theme without the ah ah ah....... can anyone tell me if they know what this is??????
