They usually grow out of that. Although my kids generation is the, " I'm entitled," generation. I can't even imagine what it will be like when my grandsons are teens. I remember riding bikes, and hopscotch and staying out all day until the street lights went on. Most children don't have that opportunity these days because of what our society has become.
I agree. When I was a kid I could ride my bike around the neighborhood and be home before dark. When my kids were younger I wouldn't let them out of the yard and never without me being outside with them.
