So in a month I’m traveling to Europe from California for almost 3 weeks to tour with my band. I’m planning on taking all my supplements with me but I’m not sure if that’s going to be an issue to get through security and everything else. Has anyone ever traveled to different countries or on planes with all there supplements? And if you have, have you experienced anything negative going through security? Thanks.

I have traveled number of times and have never been questioned. I’m flying to Europe again in few days and will bring all supplement and Serc for the duration of the trip. You should have no issues with customs or anything like that.

Awesome thanks man! Do you keep them all in their own bottles or do you keep them in pill organizers?

I have kept them in pill organizers, one organizer for breakfast, one for lunch and one for dinner. As you going for almost 3 weeks maybe easier to keep them in there own bottles? I normally travel for a week so 7 day organizers works fine for that. Usually I fly with carry on only but have had the supplements in checked in luggage also. I guess its been over 10-12 years that I been on JOH now and travel least few times a year and nobody has never asked anything so far. Have a wonderful trip and enjoy your tour!

You won't have any problem as long as the quantity you're carrying is in line with your personal use for the trip's duration. Always carry prescription drugs or anything you need to take in your carry-on. Your pharmacy can give you a printed list of your prescriptions, and if you take that you won't need to haul a bunch of mostly-empty bottles with you. Or you can just carry the fill receipts with you.

Walgreens and similar places sell tiny ziploc bags that can be convenient for travel. For each day of travel I use three bags marked AM, Evening, and PM. Each day is tied together with a rubber band so I can easily carry what's needed with me. Setting them up this way prior to traveling ensures I've got the right quantity. I always bring 2 or three extra days' worth, in case of something unforeseen.

    Have an excellent tour!

p.s. You might see if you can pick up some Serc (betahistine) while you're there. It's the standard med for Meniere's in Europe, and may be available OTC in some countries. Ask the pharmacist. The FDA hasn't approved Serc in the US because its effectiveness hasn't been proved consistently. ...As if there's any one-size-fits-all consistently effective med that the FDA has approved.... But many people think Serc is effective for them (my cousin in England being one of those people).
