Hi All, Here to vent but also ask for support if there is anyone able to help in the UK. I just had a back and fourth with my GP about potentially trying antivirals and they flat refused to discuss, even stating that they hadn't bothered to read the studies I had shared given that it wasn't a supported treatment method in the UK. Has anyone had any success in the UK getting antiviral prescriptions? I would also be open to buying online if someone has a source that is trustworthy. I have just started taking a high dose of vitamin C and Llysine. Thanks
Hi Terratag I had a similar experience to yours. I asked my ENT in a London hospital for an antiviral treatment and he did not want to hear about it. I managed to get acyclovir, made up STD problems. I got the treatment but it didn’t work. I also used Monolaurin which actually reduced the frequency of my attacks which was great relief. I hope you will find what you are looking for. All the best
