Too long, I have looked into the mirror
Only to see a stranger staring back at me
The pain hidden behind those empty eyes
Is not always evident for others to see

The reflection was once of a happier man
Living a life that could only be awed
Now the face that is formed at each days start
Knows the vision of happiness is that of a fraud

Where is the face I once knew so well
How could I not know my own reflection
This mirror once painted a happier tale
Better times, that now escape recollection

Behind this charade, lies untold anguish
Fears of new pain and constant sorrow
Void eyes that hide the greatest fear of all
The fears of an unknown tomorrow
    BE HAPPY

Watch your habits, they become your character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny".

I know these thoughts too well. Meniere's takes away so much more than anyone can realize, unless they are indwelled by the same beast.
