    Hi all
    My dilemma is this :
Has everyone have/had vertigo with MD?
Has anyone have just dizziness and no vertigo ?
I had an initial vertigo attack in 2019 but not a single one since
My 2019 ENT called it atypical Ménière’s
My 2022 ENT says that was the wrong diagnosis because of no addl vertigo

I have other MD symptoms too:
    Loss of hearing
    Bad tinnitus
    Memory loss and confusion
    Ear popping pressure at times
    Dizziness is the worst
Did use JOH regimen in 2019 and it went away for 3 years
Tried it again this time but gave up too soon

if anyone has consistent dizziness, would appreciate knowing
    Thank you

Same here. Have strong hearing loss and tinnutus. While my dizziness attack me only when i have bad posture sitting working in front of a table, it does not happen otherwise

Siren, read your thread, and I'm wondering if you are dealing with BPPV rather
    than Meniere's.

Without true rotational vertigo, it cannot be a Meniere's diagnosis. We term it cochlear hydrops when the inner-ear inflammation affects the cochlea rather than the vestibular system.

That said, it could well be possible that the root cause of inflammation is the same as those who do have their vestibular system affected (or inflammation severe enough that it leads to vertigo).

Vertigo is the BIG symptom. Without it you have some other danged thing. Yes, research BPPV.

I had severe Vertigo and am late stage Meniere's My doctor put me on Alprazolam and it stopped it immediately. It also eliminated stress that creates Tinnitus. Alprazolam changed my life- maybe it can for you as well

Thanks guys! I'm indeed diagnosed with cochlear hydrops. My dizziness seems not related to the hearing loss in time.

I had thee of the four symptoms for 18 years.
    Then the vertigo hit.
    So yes, it is possible.

Like many diseases, Meniere's is progressive. Hearing loss, tinnitus, etc.
are the "shots across the bow" before vertigo arrives on scene.

As a teen in the 70's, riding on a ferris wheel scared the crap outta me.
    Now I know why.
