VERTIGO-OTO-104 'miracle drug' hope as patients notice instant improvement

The reason why i ask the above is because some folks respond to one drug but not another, or to one brand but not another. Or they don't take the proper dose for long enough. Assuming that you're taking the dose properly, what drug and brand did you use?

This information would be grateful helpful to those of us who are trying to pin down exactly what helps and what doesn't. Even "failure" trials give us good information.

I personally would take every antiviral that has been mentioned for at least 6 months at max dose before quitting. What if i had taken acyclovir and it didn't work (as some others have posted)? Then i gave up because "it didn't work"? I'd never have known the relief of valacyclovir.
