So my vestibular condition doesn't technically qualify as Meniere's, as I don't get rural fullness nor full in vertigo attacks.

But I get weeks or months of dizziness and brain fog.

I'm fairly certain that the valtrex I take helps, as I haven't been as bad as I would get before I started taking it.

More recently, all my attacks I would get over within a week or two, all I had to do was up my dose of valtrex.

This more recent attack is sticking around for like 3 weeks now.

    Why would this be?

Is there a chance I can recover faster in the longer term by making myself worse by like not taking the medicine for 1 day , to induce my immune system to fight the virus?

Hi EA, just a thought. Maybe there is more to your problems than the virus. I too took AVs and found some help but I have had even more success with a change in diet. For me, Keto is working, but that's just me. Keto or something else might help clear your head.
