Actually, I'm so glad he's addressing my fairly recent (last few months) of my hearing in my good ear getting worse--that was discovered when I had my last audiogram 3 weeks ago--and just got in to see him yesterday. He said he doesn't think the Meniere's is headed to my good ear! Has put me on the Prednisone and ordered an MRI asap. So, hoping this is a step in the right direction. Will report back I know the Prednisone saved the loss of all of my hearing in the bad ear--a few years ago. I just didn't get in soon enough for it to save all of it--now only have 30% there but wear bilateral hearing aids. And my good ear is not hearing well at all, even with the new aid. So will have a repeat audiogram when the Prednisone is gone--scheduled for 3 weeks from now. to see if it's helped the hearing to improve, or at least stopped it from getting worse!
